Three Rivers Film Festival

Celebrate art on the silver screen at the 34th annual Three Rivers Film Festival in Pittsburgh, starting this Friday. As the area’s oldest and largest film festival, it spotlights films of diverse genres, hosts receptions, and features visits from the filmmakers themselves, offering over 50 films at this year’s celebration.

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive
Date: Friday, November 13th | Time: 11 AM – 12 PM
Location: Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Join your neighbors at the children’s museum to kick off the 16th annual Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive, and donate new or gently used sweaters to help your neighbors in need. Relive your beloved memories of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and catch a special appearance from Mr. McFeely on November 13th.
If you want to take a personal trip to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, visit the show’s special collection at the Heinz History Center, which features familiar items like Mister Rogers’ living room, King Friday’s castle, and even a life-like model of Mister Rogers with his signature sweater and smile.
Historic Trolley Tours of Pittsburgh

Location: Station Square

Light Up Night in Downtown Pittsburgh
Welcome the holidays with one of Pittsburgh’s most popular holiday events, Light Up Night. Watch Downtown Pittsburgh transform into a modern winter wonderland with sparkling lights, towering Christmas trees, and fireworks to light up the city with reds, greens, and golds.
This year is the 55th annual celebration of Light Up Night and will be an event you don’t want to miss. There will be music, entertainment, and activities to kick off the holidays.
Along with Light Up Night, Pittsburgh’s winter celebration also showcases a Holiday Market in Market Square and fantastic holiday events like a Holly Trolley and ice rink in the shadow of PPG Place.
